Rail Transportation Services within Japan

Sources Sought Notice for Rail Transportation Services within Japan The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify and engage with potential sources for Rail Transportation Services within Japan. This notice is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), a Request for Quotes (RFQ), or an invitation for bid (IFB), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any specific acquisition. This requirement consists of railway linehaul, switching, and shunting services between Defense Fuel Supply Point (DFSP) Tsurumi and Yokota Air Base, Japan. A condensed draft PWS is attached for your reference. Interested parties should provide the following information:

3.1 Company Information: Registered business name, address, and phone number. DUNS number and CAGE code. Point of contact (name, phone number, and email). Size of the company (small business, large business, etc.) Any relevant socio-economic certifications.

3.2 Relevant Experience and Past Performance: Brief description of the company's background in providing the required goods or services. A list and descriptions of any relevant contracts or projects the company has completed within the past 3 years.

3.3 Technical Capabilities: A description of the company's technical capabilities that are directly applicable to the subject matter of this notice.

3.4 Availability: A statement confirming the company's availability and interest in participating in a potential competitive acquisition of the goods or services. All interested sources should respond to this Sources Sought Notice via email to jacob.love.3@us.af.mil and kenji.urasaki.jp@us.af.mil no later than 9 Aug 2024 @ 2:00PM JST. Responses shall include the information requested in this notice.
