Consultations on Forestry and Wildlife Law amendments to promote sustainable agricultural practices

Facilitate a participatory process that includes national and regional government institutions in Peru, private sector, civil society NGOs, foreign missions and/or their international cooperation agencies, and Indigenous Peoples representatives organizations, to discuss recent amendments to the Forestry and Wildlife Law, and related regulation, to identify concrete recommendations for legislation or regulations that will result in formalization and market benefits for agricultural producers in the Amazon, while protecting Peru’s natural forests.
