OSC motion system requirements Three-axis motion stages (x,y,z); QTY=4 - Environmental requirements: o Ultra-high vacuum compatibility to 1e-11 Torr o Bakeable to 120 degrees Celsius (minimum) o Non-magnetic construction - Motion performance requirements: o Maximum size: 40x40x40 mm o QTY=2 units with minimum x range of +/- 10 mm and minimum y/z range of +/- 5 mm o QTY=2 units with minimum x/y range of +/- 10 mm and minimum z range of +/- 5 mm o Closed-loop operation with 5-nm resolution or better o Translation speed better than 10 mm/second o Unidirectional repeatability better than 50 nm o Maximum force > 1N - Software/controller requirements: o Communication via ethernet connection o Python API for control and readback - Additional requirements: o Ultra-high vacuum feedthroughs for individual 3-axis units on conflat flanges (2.75” or 1.33” CF strongly preferred) SARC AND PUR466 MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH ALL PROPOSALS.
