Management and Operation of PPPL Cafeteria

Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) a National Laboratory and Federally Funded Research and Development Center RDC) operated by The Trustees of Princeton University, a US Department of Energy Prime Contractor wishes to solicit proposals in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) 24-064C for a qualified food service contractor to manage and operate the cafeteria at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, 100 Stellarator Road, James Forrestal Campus, US Route 1 North, Princeton, NJ.

Please review the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for a detailed description of the required services. The term of the proposed subcontract is 2 years from date of award with option to extend the performance period for three consecutive 12-month periods, a total of 5 years if all options are exercised. This procurement is unrestricted, full and open. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 722310 Food Service Contractors.

There will be a Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit scheduled for 2 PM (EST), Tuesday, July 23, 2024. Firms must return the RFP Acknowledgement Form contained in the RFP to receive information to attend the event. Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.

Proposals are due to PPPL by 4:00 PM EST, Tuesday, August 13, 2024. This announcement shall not commit PPPL to issue a subcontract for this effort, or to pay any costs incurred by offerors in the preparation and submittal of proposals in response to this RFP.
