Request for Information - Near Earth Orbit Network Program’s Sounder for Microwave-Based Applications Instrument

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO PROPOSALS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. This Request for Information (RFI) issued by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center includes the following draft documents related to the Near Earth Orbit Network (NEON) Program’s Sounder for Microwave-Based Applications (SMBA)

Instrument: Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirements List, Instrument Mission Assurance Requirements, and Performance Requirements Document. These documents are for information and planning purposes, to allow industry to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirements, to allow industry to provide meaningful feedback to improve the requirements for the Government’s consideration, and to promote competition.

The Government will provide an overview of this RFI on April 18, 2024, from 3:30-4:30PM Eastern Time (ET). Additionally, the contractor community is invited and encouraged to schedule 1-on-1 meetings with the Government team to discuss the draft documents. Please contact the undersigned for information on the overview and/or to arrange the 1-on-1 meetings. This Request for Information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response.
