THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Office of Research and Engineering’s Vehicle Recorder Division (RE-40) is seeking information on how an interested party could provide software solutions to replace its existing Crash Investigation & Data Event Recovery (CIDER) software with a commercial off-the-shelf product. Review the attached RFI for additional information.
