Solar Power Generation - DOE Cleanup to Clean Energy Power Generation at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site

The Department of Energy – Savannah River Operations Office (DOE-SR) recently released a Request for Information (RFI) on SAM.gov related to the DOE Cleanup to Clean Energy initiative.

(Reference Notice ID: RFI8900FY24001). A follow-on Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be released on March 1, 2024. DOE-SR will host an information day at Savannah River Site (SRS) on February 29, 2024, for parties interested in submitting a response to the RFQ. The RFQ will focus only on utility scale solar power generation. Attendance at the information day is in person only and your presence at the event is not required to submit a response to the RFQ.

The information day will begin at 10:00 am EST and conclude at 3:00 pm EST. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and view the available tracts of land. Visitors please dress appropriately for the outdoor site visit. Companies may send up to two individuals to the event and both individuals must be US Citizens.
