Body Worn Cameras

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is seeking to initiate a Body Worn Camera (BWC) Pilot Program at a designated facility which houses Adults in Custody. The technology will be leveraged to provide accountability and transparency for staff actions, provide support in the investigation of inmate allegations, and increase training and procedural adherence to agency policy.

The FBOP is seeking contractor assistance to implement a pilot program consisting of approximately 260 body-worn cameras for four positions/posts at the designated facility during the pilot. In addition to the BWCs, the FBOP will also need contractor service and support to ingest, manage, and share the captured BWC video/audio events. Please see the included attachements.
