Facilities Journeyman Technician for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) Pacific Region (PR) intends to solicit for a firm-fixed-price contract, using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for a facilities journeyman technician for the NWS Pacific Region Systems Operations Division (SOD).

The anticipated period of performance is for a base period of twelve (12) months, beginning on or about September 1, 2024 and four twelve (12) month option year. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) concern. A resultant solicitation will be published on SAM.gov on or May 17, 2024. Any WOSB that submits a proposal in response to the solicitation will be considered.

The Government intends to award a single contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value for the government. The Government requires that all contractors doing business be active at time of award and registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).
