Sources Sought Announcement for BioRad Service and Repair of QX600 AutoDG Droplet Digital PCR System This is a Sources Sought Announcement issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response.
The USDA, Agricultural Research Services (ARS), Northeast Area (NEA), Eastern Regional Research Center requires the replacement of the in-line oil filter and the manifold fluidics (oil pump) in the QX600 AutoDG Droplet Digital PCR System that is ineffective. This will require a technician to make the necessary repairs. This request is to see if any vendor offers this product and service on GSA MAS 334516 Analytical Instruments. Please refer to the Statement of Work when providing information for this announcement.
Responses to this announcement will help to determine the acquisition strategy for any future solicitation. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code - 334516 – Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, business size 1,000 employees.
Product Service Code (PSC) – 6640 Laboratory Equipment and Supplies Submission Instructions: Interested vendors are invited to submit a response to this announcement by 12:00p ET on 31 March 2025, to the attention of David Jordan, Contracts Specialist, David.Jordan@usda.gov. All questions are asked to be submitted in writing to the Primary Point of Contract and will be addressed accordingly. Responses should be no more than 5 pages and include the following information: Business Name.
Point of Contact name, e-mail address and phone number. Business SAM UEI number. Business size status for the applicable NAICS code. A statement of interest in any forthcoming acquisition. A statement of capability to perform details of the requirement. Interested vendors are instructed to provide only the data requested.
