Notice of Intent to Sole Source

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. The Forest Service intends to award a sole source award to Management and Engineering Technologies (METI) to acquire Program management support for national forest systems.

FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C), In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Schedule ordering procedures. METI is the incumbent for the Department of Agriculture and has been found to be the only reasonable source to continue the support for National Forest systems.

Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by September 10th 2024 by 13:00 EST. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
