West Virginia and Grafton National Cemetery | Herbicide and Fertilizer -- S208 West Virginia and Grafton National Cemetery | Herbicide and Fertilizer | Interim bridge for 60-days The West Virginia National Cemetery located at 18-56 Veterans Memorial Lane, Grafton WV 26354, has an immediate need for herbicide and fertilizer services.

Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to provide herbicide and fertilization services at the West Virginia and Grafton National Cemeteries, services will be provided in accordance with all terms, conditions, specifications, requirements, and schedules of the contract, including National Cemetery Administration Standard Operating Procedures and Operational Standards & Measures.

Description of Services briefly described as: Application #1 &2: Pre-emergent control for annual weed grasses such as crabgrass, goosegrass combined with a post emergent herbicide to treat any actively growing broadleaf weeds. Herbicide will be applied at manufacturers recommended label rate for cool season turf grass in liquid form. Herbicide will be applied to the entire turf grass acreage including between headstones for control of crabgrass and broadleaf weeds.

Application #3: Combination pre/post emergent control for annual weed grasses and broadleaf weeds applied in liquid form along with a granular turf fertilization using a fertilizer with a 26-0-12 NPK ratio with a minimum 50% slow release SCU (sulfur coated urea). Fertilizer shall be applied to the entire turf acreage at a rate of 4 lbs. of total fertilizer per 1000 sq. ft.
