Notice of Intent to Sole Source for upgrade of the Building Automation System

The US Mission Geneva intends to award a sole-source contract to Honeywell for the upgrade of the BAS system. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The contractor will provide labor, materials, and solutions to upgrade the server and software.

Honeywell is uniquely qualified to provide these goods/services because the existing controllers on each device and the existing network infrastructure is proprietary to the Honeywell BAS System. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) has been prepared and is posted in accordance with FAR 6.305. The services will be provided in Geneva, Switzerland, this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Point of contact is Gavin Eliott – Contracting Officer
