Notice of Intent to Sole Source Retrograde Pouch Airfreight Services for U.S. Embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award on sole source basis a contract for Retrograde Pouch Airfreight Services for the U.S. Embassy Harare. This contract shall be under NAICS code 481112 to Airline Cargo Partners (Qatar Airways). The estimated period of performance is up to 6 months.

This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Airline Cargo Partners (Qatar Airways), is considered as the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. See attached J&A. The services will be provided in Harare, Zimbabwe.

This is not a request for proposal and the intent of this notice is to meet regulatory disclose requirements, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.
