CONTRACT AWARD - Magnetometers and associated hardware, software, material, engineering, technical and logistics support

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209), Patuxent River,MD has awarded a $2,558,128.11 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing UK Limited, Cleeve Business Park, Bishops Cleeve Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL52 8TW United Kingdom for the production and delivery of up to a maximum quantity of 107 magnetometers, a weapons replaceable assembly used on multiple platforms, both military and commercial that provides magnetic heading information in a format compatible with existing military Common Electronic Standby Indicator Systems (CESIs), and meets the processing and projected growth requirements for safety and mission specific requirements; and provides a vital operational capability to support the digital cockpit of these platforms.

Work will be performed in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom, and is expected to be completed in December 2026. No funds will be obligated at the time of award; funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued. This contract was awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1). Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
