Siemens Control System Hardware

The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD has a requirement to procure Siemens Monsoor (DDG1001).

The items being procured consist of thirty-eight (38) SIEMENS S7-1500-series 1518-4 Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), two hundred forty-four (244) SIEMENS SCALANCE series XC206 industrial network switches, fifty-two (52) SIEMENS SCALANCE series XM408 industrial network switches, four hundred ninety-two (492) LC optical port accessories for the SIEMENS SCALANCE series, expansion modules and power supplies for the PLCs, and mounting hardware.

It is the Government's intention to procure this on a competitive basis. Accordingly, NSWCPD is requesting information from any and allinterested sources in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy. An RFQ will be posted to SAM.gov proceeding this notice. This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. TheGovernment is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposal.

Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this pre-solicitation notice, and the Government will notcompensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this pre-solicitation. The Government will not release anyinformation marked with a proprietary legend received in response to this pre-solicitation to any firms, agencies or individuals outsidethe Government without written permission in accordance with the legend. Please be advised that all submissions become Governmentproperty and will not be returned.
