Notice of Intent to Sole Source - A-E Ambulatory Care Center, Phase 4

This notice is for informational purposes only. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwest District - Forh Worth intends to issue a contract action on a sole-source basis to Burns & McDonnell, Inc (CAGE: 1VKQ1) ("Designer of Record" or "DOR").

This sole-source contract action will acquire architect-engineer (A-E) design and construction support services from the DOR, to complete the Site Improvements for the ACC, Phase 4 project at JBSA-Lackland AFB, Texas 78236. These site improvements were once designed under a Design-Build Contract W9126G18C0077. The AE services will include updating the design documents to current site conditions and design criteria.

The scope of the design includes the construction of open areas and parking lots, a wet detention pond, a walking trail, lighting around the detention pond, and associated pedestrian features. The services also include support during solicitation through award of construction and an Option to provide Construction Phase Services (CPS).

The AE shall update the site improvements that were descoped from Construction Contract W9126G18C0077, Modification 007, dated April 21, 2021, to ensure compliance with current codes and that the project design reflects these updates.
