Description

As published on SAM.gov.

Sources Sought – Additional capabilities for the XM157 Fire Control The US Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of Project Manager Soldier Lethality (PM SL), located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting a market survey to identify novel technologies/software that can be utilized as a module on the XM157 fire control. The XM157 is a magnified direct view optic with laser range finder, environmental sensors, ballistic solver, wireless communication, compass, and digital display overlay.

The sight provides the Soldier with the capability to accurately engage targets across the range of the host weapon and provides a marked point of aim directly in the sight picture. The system increases probability of hit and enables Rifleman and Automatic Rifleman to effectively engage targets faster.

This notice is looking for information from interested companies that have novel technologies or ongoing research that would be beneficial for the XM157 system as a module and/or software that provides enhanced capability. See attached additional information and vendor questionnaire.

NOTE: Interested companies may request the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement (NDA) and AMSTA-AR Form 1350 at the time they respond to this Sources Sought notice. Information, instructions, and portal for the DD2345 can be found at: https://www.dla.mil/Logistics-Operations/Services/JCP/SpecificDD2345Instructions/ Companies who submit the completed NDA, Form 1350, and approved DD2345, will then be provided the data.
