BAK-14 Aircraft Arresting System Spare Parts Kit

The 188th Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard, intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Service LLC DBA ESCO, 2550 Market Street, Aston, PA 19014, to provide spare parts kits for the BAK-14 Aircraft Arresting System. The BAK-14 AAS was manufactured, desgined, and installed by Curtiss-Wright for the Air Force. This special notice is in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supply/service will satisfy the requirements.

This notice of intent is not a request for quatation or a solicitation for offers and is being posted for at least fifteen (15) calendar days. No solicitation package will be available. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

All qualified sources must respond no later than 11:00 AM CST, 10 July, 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government.
