NOTICE OF INTENT- J&A BRAND NAME PROJECT NAME: Letterkenny Munitions Center Joint Missile Maintenance Facilty, Chambersburg, PA. This project includes the construction of fire alarm systems within the new buildings at LEAD. Some elements within these new systems will require sole-source acquisition and are listed herein. The estimated delivery period for this equipment will be in accordance with commercial practices. No options are anticipated for these requirements.

This is not a modification to an existing contract; this is a new construction contract to be awarded during fiscal year 2024 (FY24). The requiring activity is LEAD, located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The estimated construction duration is 910 calendar days from date of the date of Notice to Proceed. The projected date of award is 3rd quarter FY24. The sole source items required are as follows:

Fire Alarm Radio Transmitter to be sole supplied by SigCom. This is a single panel utilized for communicating between the fire alarm control panel and the site-wide fire alarm reporting system. Mass Notification Receiver to be supplied by Federal Signal. This is a single panel for communicating between the base-wide central mass notification system and the individual-building mass notification system to be constructed in our facility.
