Notice of Intent to Sole Source XVIII ABC Historian Services

XVIII requires command historian services that were previously performed under a contract that was terminated due to prime contractor non-performance. It is the best interest of the government to award directly to the command historian that was employed under the previous contractor for continuity for the remaining current period of duration remaining on the previous contract that XVII ABC required the period of performance for the services. Therefore, competition for the follow on is not efficient or economical to compete, train a new historian, because the time period would be almost expired by that time of the original plan.
