TBD 16. Description: The U.S. Government desires to procure Solid Waste Landfill Monitoring Services to a Total Small Business set aside. The contractor shall provide services for long-term monitoring and compliance activities with groundwater sampling, explosive gas and leachate removal, to ensure Fort Campbell follows all applicable solid waste disposal regulations to include Tennessee Rule 1200-1-7-04 as specified in the Groundwater and Explosive Gas Monitoring Program Plan for Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price.

The contractor, as an independent contractor and not as an agent of the government, shall provide the personnel, materials, equipment, and any other necessary resources to satisfy the objectives of the requirement as stated in the solicitation and attachments.
