Preventive maintenance service, which incorporates both hardware and software services, for our Opera Phenix Plus System

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, sole source Contract on behalf of the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) to Revvity Health Sciences, Inc. located in Hopkinton, MA 01748, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.105(a)(1)(ii) sole source (including brand name) under the authority of simplified procedures for certain commercial items. This requirement is for the comprehensive preventive maintenance service, which incorporates both hardware and software services, for our Opera Phenix Plus System (Model Number: HCSHH14001000;

SN: 2400L21066). Revvity Health Sciences, Inc has technical service representatives who receive comprehensive and on-going factory training and regular technical updates, as well as having direct access to original manufacturer’s parts to help maintain the Opera Phenix Plus System. Only Revvity Health Science, Inc. service representatives can resolve the most challenging software update and support needed to maintain optimal calibration and operability of the equipment.

This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for quotations (RFQ) and no solicitation document exists for the requirement; however, if a vendor challenges the basis for this requirement, please submit a capability statement that includes sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide these services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement.
