Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Leica Surveyor Laser Maintenance

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR FAR 13.106-l(b)(l)(i) Soliciting from a single source ( exclusive licensing agreements).

The ACC-APG Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source service contract to Leica GeoSystems Inc. Cage Code: 35643. The objective of this contract is the acquisition of a maintenance service contract for four (4) high definition laser scanners (2 RTC 360’s and 2 Scan Station P40’s), and 6 licenses of Cyclone Register software, 7 licenses of Cyclone Model software, and associated software modules for the US Army Aberdeen Test Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Leica GeoSystems Inc. is the OEM, has the proprietary rights and is the only authorized service provider of the equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811210 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Posting date of this requirement is 25 July 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 13 August 2024 10:00 M EST. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. This is not a Request for Quote.
