Stromasys Charon Virtual Address extensions (VAX) renewals

SUBJECT: Request for Quote for procurement of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf Stromasys Charon Virtual Address extensions (VAX) renewals This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial supply prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is PANAPG-23-P-0000 023689 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), on behalf of the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) in support of Satellite Communications Set (SCS), intends to solicit and award a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) order for the procurement of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Stromasys Charon-VAX software renewals.

The Government projects an order award before September 2024. It is the Government’s intent to make an award utilizing the authority set forth in 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 513210 – Software Publishers with an SBA size standard of $47 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 7A21. The request for quote (RFQ) number for this effort is PANAPG-23-P-0000 023689 and submissions of signed and dated quotations are due on or before 1430 hours (EST) 19 August 2024. The subscription validity period shall be as listed in the Product Descriptions table below.
