This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The U.S. Army is seeking contractor support to provide high risk driving and firearm training for approximately 12 force protection detachment personnel over the course of 5 days. Desired outcomes of the training are for participants to be able to identify and neutralize an active shooter while taking cover and returning fire. Participants shall also learn how to handle offensive/defensive vehicle movements and dismounting procedures while firing to escape potential aggressors. Additional points of instruction shall also include:

- Proper aim of a weapon - Clearing a jammed weapon in stressful conditions - Loading and reloading while walking/running - Properly un-holstering the concealed weapon rapidly and effectively to deal with active shooters - Instinctive driving while in a light armored SUV, off road driving, close quarter driving, highway emergency response drills and countering kidnap attempts during transportation - Defensive and evasive driving techniques concealed carry, and employment of pistol to include. - Engaging from the vehicle - Engaging targets through the vehicle - Maneuvering the vehicle under duress, down driver drills, dismounting or ditching the vehicle if disabled while continuing to engage targets on foot, and establishing a strong point to defend.
