Laundering Services of Occupational Garments

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY – This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.

All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.

It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The 409th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), TCC Kaiserslautern, is seeking to identify potential ‘local’ sources for Dry Cleaning & Laundering Services of Occupational Garments in the Greater Kaiserslautern locality, to include the Vilseck, Boeblingen, Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels military communities.

The service also requires the pickup and delivery of the garments to approximately 14 locations overall, reference the Performance Work Statement’s Technical Exhibit C (see Attachment 1). RESPONSES TO THIS RFI. Vendors interested must provide:

1. Point of Contact name, email address, and phone number.

2. CAGE Code and Unique Entity ID number (All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD System for Award Management (SAM) via https://www.sam.gov ) 3.Provide documentation demonstrating their ability to provide the services as identified in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS), Attachment 1, for projects that are similar in size and scope.
