DOI/HHS Buy Indian Small Business Industry Day

The DOI OSDBU and Bureau of Indian Affairs are planning a joint Tribal/Native Owned Small Business Industry Day with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Indian Health Services (IHS).

This event is an opportunity to provide outreach to our local industry partners to enhance small business competition, build relationships, and facilitate a better understanding of our agency's mission requirements and contractor opportunities specifically targeted for Native American Owned businesses surrounding our agency's Buy Indian Act mandate. The two-day hybrid event will take place May 15-16, 2024, at Gateway Community College, Phoenix, AZ.

The Industry Day is anticipated to be widely attended as it relates to several Administration and Secretarial priorities including Economic Security and Growth of Tribes, Equity in Federal Contracting, and increasing federal contracting dollars awarded to underserved communities among others.
