O-Rings Prime Vendor RFI

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION NOTICE. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime is issuing a Request for Information (RFI). SEE ATTACHED RFI QUESTIONNAIRE. The Government seeks responses from industry to provide end-to-end logistical support with customer direct vendor deliveries for approximately 3,432 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for O-Rings used on, but not limited to, the Ohio Class SSBN (TRIDENT) and the Nuclear Reactors Program.

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) would like feedback on how industry can best support the military customer’s requirements for O-rings CONUS and OCONUS. The government is willing to consider suggestions that would refine or improve the current method of support (i.e. Spot buys) as well as suggestions for alternative support models. Pending the results of this market research, DLA L&M intends to construct a Fixed-Price (FP) contract with Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) metrics.
