Notice of Intent To Sole Source - Construction Management Association of America Organizational Membership

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Services (GSA/PBS), Office of Project Management, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13) for one (1) base year, with four (4) one year option period from Construction Management Association of America, Inc, to provide GSA with Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Mega Owner membership. CMAA Mega Owner membership rights, privileges, and benefits include, but are not limited to:

1) Unlimited access to 17.75 hours of online training with the Standards of Practice Distance Learning Courses.

2) Unlimited access to the online Construction Manager Practitioner Assessment Tool.

3) CMAA Webinars – 25 one-hour webinars each year providing PDHs & CCM Recertification points for continuing education.

4) Access to CMAA’s Whiteboard – the online community of professional CMs/PMs.

5) Owner member rates on all Education & Training programs.

6) Networking and program opportunities at CMAA’s 29 Regional Chapters.

7) CMADVISOR, quarterly CM eJournal and CMAA’s Punchlist newsletters to stay abreast of industry happenings.

8) Opportunity to collaborate with leading industry, government, and academic institutions on key industry issues. The intent is for the Government to solicit to a single source using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, the Government will consider all responses received by 3PM ET, Friday, July 5, 2024. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
