Notice of Intent To Sole Source - Construction Industry Institute Organizational Membership

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Services (GSA/PBS), Office of Project Management, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13) for one (1) base year, with four (4) one year option period from University of Texas at Austin, to provide GSA employees Construction Industry Institute (CII) organizational membership. CII Membership benefits include but are not limited to:

1) Opportunity to collaborate with leading industry, government, and academic institutions on key construction delivery and project practice issues.

2) Implementation support to integrate CII Best Practices into business strategies, resulting in organizational improvements in planning, execution, and delivery of capital facilities projects.

3) Free unlimited organizational access to the CII Store and 24/7 Web-based resource of the CII Best Practices and products.

4) Education and training resources, including Executive Leadership Training, online courses, modules for member self-instruction, or customized training.

5) Executive and managerial development 6) Networking opportunities 7) Free access to all standard CII Benchmarking & Metrics reports. 8) Access to member-only products and events 9) Opportunity to collaborate with leading industry, government, and academic institutions on key industry issues. The intent is for the Government to solicit to a single source using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, the Government will consider all responses received by Friday, July 5, 2024; 3PM ET. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of quotes.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a subsequent competitive procurement.
