INDUSTRY DAY: NOAA'S Commercial Data Program 2026

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA’s) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Office of Systems Architecture and Engineering (SAE) will host an online Commercial Data Program (CDP) Industry Day 1-2:30pm Eastern, April 9, 2026. Leaders from SAE and CDP will provide a status update to the community on future plans for the program.

Presenters will offer information on CDP objectives to support NOAA’s observational requirements, including data pilot projects for microwave soundings and wildfire imagery, and expanding operational data purchases (RO, ocean surface winds, and microwave). This will be a virtual event.
