Lunar Surface User Terminals (NextSTEP-2 BAA: Appendix Q). This contract is for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Goddard Space Flight Center’s, Commercialization, Innovation, and Synergies Office for the Lunar Surface User Terminals Study. NASA is seeking state-of-the-art studies and demonstrations for a dual-purpose navigation and communication lunar surface user terminal. The Terminal will support lunar surface exploration plans and ensure interoperability with developing LunarNet and Lunar Communications Relay and Navigation System standards.
