NHLBI-24-004926
Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Health and Human Services.
Awarded
$16,080.00 obligated so far on USAspending
Description
As published on SAM.gov.
NHLBI’s Cardiovascular Branch (CB) seeks a maintenance agreement for two Medviso AB Segment CMR Analysis Packages. One package will be used internally by CB staff and the other by our research partner Medstar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC). Once the CMR packages are installed and properly configured, CB and MWHC shall conduct experiments with the analysis system. This purchase also includes software support and modifications, which will ensure uninterrupted operations.
The CMR packages will provide a software environment for compiling and simulating sequences for the system. Also, the interventional cardiology MRI picture archiving and communication system (PACS) will be used to review and analyze locally acquired and outside referral imaging studies.
The system requires multiple floating licenses to interoperate with the existing PACS server, and PACS archive systems are already installed at the NIH Clinical Center and include a patient database synchronization module, an integrated patient database, and strain analysis mode. To ensure the safety of human subjects and to protect the scientific integrity of CB’s research, the MRI system software must align with the existing PACS viewer systems installed at the NIH Clinical Center.
Market research has not yielded another commercial alternative to the Medviso AB Segment CMR Analysis Packages that can provide complete synchronization between systems.
Specifically, the Medviso AB Segment CMR Analysis Package including strain, PACS connection, and patient database provides the following features: • Loading and Visualization modules • Integrated patient database • Patient database synchronization module • LV, RV, ROI analysis modules • PACS connection module • Report generation module • Flow analysis module • Viability analysis module • T1/T2/T2*/ECV analysis module • Perfusion analysis module • Strain analysis module Specifically, the DIR requires the following system components: 1 Complete Segment CMR analysis package for NHLBI 1 Complete Segment CMR analysis package for MWHC
