Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award a Sole Source extension to contract #19BN1524D0002for Cellphone Services at U.S. Embassy Cotonou. This modification will be under NAICS code 517112 and is being issued under the authority of FAR 52.217-8. The extension shall be for an additional 6 months to allow time for the Government to award a follow-on, 5-year competitive contract for these services.

Since this is an increase in scope, this will be a sole source requirement in accordance with the authority and citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Therefore, Spacetel Benin SA, is considered as the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The services will be provided in Cotonou, Benin.

This is not a request for proposal, and the intent of this notice is to meet regulatory disclose requirements, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.
