Magnetron

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for the following items; Magnetron (SFD-349/014962993) 1 EA. This requirement is sole sourced to Communications and Power Industries, 150 Sohier Road, Beverly, MA 01915 as the only vendor able to provide this type of Magnetron that is currently being utilized.

Any firms believing that they can provide the Magnetron may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893624Q0050 and clearly show the firm’s ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within Contract Opportunities.

It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an 'Active' status as the government cannot award to an entity without an 'Active' SAM registration.
