This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued.

This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The Navy Unaccompanied Housing (UH) requires the replacement of existing locks with Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) designated brand name dormakaba RFID e-Lock Systems. The specific locations are Buildings 1040 and 1043 aboard Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. The solicitation (N6883624Q0088) is set-aside 100 percent for small business.

SAM registration is mandatory. Only e-mail requests for clarification to the contract specialist is acceptable. No phone call communications or personal office visits with FLCJ or its internal or external customers regarding issues or questions pertaining to this procurement will be accepted for the duration of the solicitation, evaluation, and award process.
