Notice of Intent to Sole Source SIP Table Repairs

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Hartech Group, LLC, Tampa, FL, on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a)(1)(C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) SIP Table Repairs COMFRC requires annual maintenance service agreement on two (2) SIP Tilt Rotary Tables, Model number PI-5, to include calibration services and repairs to bring the equipment to fully operational condition. Hartech Group was awarded the contract for teardown and evaluation for these tables. This is a logical follow-on for the repairs of the tables. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The point of contact for this requirement is Jeff Smith, jeffrey.t.smith6.civ@us.navy.mil.
