The Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic (FRCMA) Voyage Repair Team (VRT) is responsible for the overhaul of Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) in support of all aircraft carriers and select surface ships. As part of the ALRE program, FRCMA utilizes a laser engraver to engrave tooling to support the FRCMA Tool Control Program identification and accountability. Also, this equipment is used to create organizational markings on plaques for enhanced visibility within work centers and facilities.

FRCMA VRT seeks to procure one (1) Speedy 400 "FLEXX" Laser Engraver or equivalent that meets the following requirements: Specifications and Features Engraving Area 40” X 24” Max Raster Speed of 170” per sec Positional Accuracy Laser Source 120 CO2 50 Fiber Max Part Height of 12” In-Pack Technology Standard Gantry Motor with encoder/Brushless Servo Motors Standard Auto Focus Red Dot Pointer Standard Standard Air Assist Plumbing (Compressor not required) Harsh Environment Kit Included laser Software/Job Control Ruby Fully enclosed chassis with double safety interlock system; Laser safety Class 2, CE compliant maintenance-free Additional requirements Black Cutting Grid Rotary Attachment (Cones, Rollers, Combo) White Plastic Cutting Grid Exhaust System with 3 jaw Chuck with plate and Laser Control Station Additionally, there will be a trade-in of previously owned TroTec Speedy 400 Laser Engraver unit (carcass) available that may be returned to the awardee upon receipt and acceptance of the TroTec Speedy 400 "FLEXX" Laser Engraver.

If applicable, any price reductions or trade-in credits associated with the return of this carcass should be clearly identified and included as a separate line item in your proposal.
