The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Jacksonville safety department is required to inspect, maintain and replace all automated external defibrillators (AED’s) devices within the organization and ensure that each device complies with the cognizant regulations and policies that covers its operation. The contractor shall provide 60 brand-name "Zoll AED 3" units in accordance with Section C of the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) N6852025R0017.

The brand name justification required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 for this procurement is provided as an attachment. N6852025R0017 is issued as a competitive procurement.

The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a competitive basis for this requirement under FAR Parts 12 and 13. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.
