E-2 Sling Beam Flame Spray Service

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice for their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Flame Spray, Inc, on a sole source basis. In accordancee with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405(a)(C), only one source reasonbly available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Fleet Readiness Center Aviation Support Equpment (FRCASE) requires E-2 Sling Beam Service on one (1) twenty foot Sling Beam to include abrasive blasting and preservation (See attached Statement of Work (SOW)) and must be kept out of the elements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, whic, if received by the closing date of thi publication of this synopsis, will be considered.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to coduct a competitive procruement without impacting the requirement. A determinatino by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
