GOIALDE GHSC 250 Spindle Rebuild and Install

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Comprehensive Machinery Solutions, LLC, Concord, NH on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a)(1)(A), an urgent and compelling need exists, and following the procedures would result in unacceptable delays.

Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) GOIALDE GHSC 250 Spindle Rebuild and Install for the Zayer gantry style 5-axis machining center (Model 10000U, Serial Number 9ZZM001). COMFRC requires the rebuild, install and testing service of the damaged GOIALDE GHSC 250 spindle to bring the Zayer machine back to fully operational condition.

Comprehensive Machinery Solutions is the vendor that was found to be able to meet the urgent and compelling need, and the vendor that could bring the machine back to operational capability in the shortest time. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
