Notice of Intent to Sole Source Rimage Workstation and P3380 Tower Windows 11

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Rimage Corporation, 201 General Mills Blvd, Minneapolis, MN, on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a) (C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

COMFRC/NATEC Rimage Workstations COMFRC requires the existing Rimage Workstations to be upgraded and Windows 11 compatible per the Navy DoD mandate. Rimage is the sole provider of the Rimage Workstation, and the only supplier available to fully cover the workstations under the Repid Exchange maintenance contract on the Producer V 8300 non-embedded systems. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement.
