CORROSION MANAGEMENT BOARD (CMB) CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR CORROSION AND FINISH TRAINING (CoECFT)

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Attached is the DRAFT solicitation N6852024R0038 for Corrosion Management Board (CMB) Center of Excellence for Corrosion and Finish Training (CoECFT). This requirement will provide a fully turn-key approach focusing on educating, training, and certifying qualified, proficient maintainers capable of performing corrosion identification, mitigation, repair, restoration, and preservation at a single site.

The Government anticipates the total ceiling for the five years of requirements as defined in the Statement of Work titled, Attachment 1 SOW CoECFT_26AUG2024 to be about $35M. In an effort to ensure the requirements in the solicitation are clear and concise, the Government is providing the opportunity for industry to submit questions, feedback or comments related to the DRAFT solicitation.

Industry feedback is requested by 12:00 Noon EST on Friday 27 September 2024. Please use the attached excel RFP Question Submittal Form and submit all questions via email to tyler.c.cryer.civ@us.navy.mil and meghan.e.huett.civ@us.navy.mil. Submissions will be accepted as email attachments only. The Government is preparing to issue the formal solicitation approximately the 1st Quarter of FY25 and contract award is anticipated the 2nd Quarter of FY25. Please note these are estimated dates and are subject to change.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and Product Service Code: The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 611519 "Other Technical and Trade Schools" with a Small Business Size Standard of $21M.

The Product Service Code is U008, “Education/Training- Training/Curriculum Development” Anticipated Contract Type: The resultant contract is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and Cost CLINs for the stand up and sustainment of a complete turn-key corrosion training facility.

Anticipated Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is a five (5) year ordering period.
