AIRCRAFT WIDE LOAD ESCORT SERVICES FRCSE

The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) is an industrial facility that reworks, repairs, and overhauls various aircraft, engines, and components. Aircraft escort services are required to transport aircraft on public roads between Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS JAX) and Cecil Commerce Center (CCC) in order to complete overhauls and repairs. * The contractor is responsible to apply and obtain for the FDOT permits.

Scheduling of law enforcement personnel to assist the escort is NOT required unless there are vechiles that need to be removed in order to complete the escort.* Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall provide all equipment and labor (to include law enforcement personnel) to escort the transport of aircraft between NAS JAX and CCC, in both directions, in compliance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Oversize/Overweight Permits.

The actual aircraft will be moved by government personnel using government vehicles. The contractor shall provide the pilot and escort services. The contractor shall establish a secondary employment with the law enforcement and fulfill any documentation as requested by the City of Jacksonville. Aircraft platforms include F/A-18 AD and F/A-18 E/F.
