Color Weather Radars

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-21-G-0020 with Honeywell International Inc., CAGE: 02LU7 for the issuance of a Firm-Fixed-Priced Delivery Order. The Delivery Order will be for Color IntuVue RDR-4000M 3D Weather Radars (CWRs) in support of the NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Airborne Systems Integration (ASI) Division.

Honeywell International Inc. is the only distributor capable of providing a solution that meets the requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis.

Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
