Radio Frequency (RF) Generators

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Viasat, Inc. for the procurement of cradle-to-grave support for Radio Frequency (RF) generators to include hardware, spares, and incidental services consisting of repairs and replacement, engineering support, technical data, and software updates. to support the United States (U.S.) Navy fleet.

The Government intends to issue a five year Basic Ordering Agreement with Viasat, Inc. the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the required RF generators and currently retains all rights to the associated software, firmware, and hardware. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses must be sent via email to the POC list.
