SYNOPSIS: #N68335-25-R-0346 Ten (10) MHU-83D Munitions Handling Units (Part Number (P/N):

971480-70, NIIN: 01-446-2422) Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division - Kuwait F/A-18 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hydraulics International, Inc., CAGE: 56529, for the ten (10) MHU-83D Munitions Handling Units hardware components in support of the NAWCAD F/A-18 Division.

Hydraulics International Inc., as the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the MHU-83D Munitions Handling Units and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, technical experience, and production-level data to produce these components. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
