Visual Landing Aids (VLA) program The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCAD) intends to enter into a sole-source firm-fixed price contract with the Blackberry Limited to procure the P/N 910740 QNX Software Development Platform, P/N 910772 QNX Software Development Platform License Key, P/N 910772/S Standard Support for QNX Software Development.

The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 513210. No other operating systems were found to be compatible with the current system, therefore any other options would require a redesign. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
