The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Special Communication Solutions (SCMS) Amplified Speaker and Cables

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Misc Engineering LLC (CAGE: 4W0X1) for the issuance of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The contract will be for the procurement of Misc Engineering LLC amplified speakers and cables in support of upgrades for United States Special Operations Command Radio Integration System (RIS) Family of Systems (FoS).

Misc Engineering LLC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and sole distributor of the required amplified speakers and cables. The Misc Engineering LLC amplified speakers and cables are the only amplified speakers and cables that meet the unique combination of requirements for size, weight, and performance, and meet established Military Specifications, Environmental Engineering Considerations and Laboratory Tests.

No other amplified speakers and cables can meet the unique combination of requirements and have passed necessary testing. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
